SPR # SCOS68DJZC fixed in 6.5.5 releaseRecommended Release (14.5 FP1)

Product Area: Server Technical Area: Serviceability Platform: Windows

SPR# SCOS68DJZC - In certain rare cases, the contents of an invalid stack frame would cause NSD to go into an infinite loop walking the stacks. The symptoms are that NSD would appear to hang. An added symptom is that the generated NSD log file would only contain the initial headers and version information.

NSD's stack walking logic has been enhanced to detect invalid stack frames in a more thorough fashion, thereby eliminating the hang problem.
There is no workaround for the hang problem covered by this fix.
